- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner - Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly - Enter orders into the Aloha POS system or similar restaurant software - Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner - Ensure guest satisfaction by providing excellent customer service - Upsell menu items and promote daily specials - Assist with food preparation and plating when needed - Clear and reset tables for the next guests - Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a server or in a similar role preferred - Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food service and guest services - Familiarity with POS systems, such as Aloha POS or similar software - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with kitchen staff - Basic knowledge of culinary terminology and food safety/sanitation practices Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of duties and qualifications.
