Must have weekend availability.
Pay is minimum plus tips which equate to around $25-$40/hr.
Duties:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner - Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently - Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions about the menu - Enter orders into the POS system and ensure accuracy - Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely manner - Check on customers throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction - Process payments and handle cash transactions - Clean and reset tables for the next customer - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders - Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines Skills:
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change - Proficiency in food handling and safety procedures - Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Exceptional customer service skills to provide a positive dining experience - Knowledge of guest services principles to address customer concerns or complaints - Familiarity with food preparation techniques and presentation standards - Understanding of the food industry, including different types of cuisine and dietary restrictions - Experience using a point-of-sale systems is a plus - Ability to build rapport with guests and maintain positive guest relations Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
