The ideal candidate will have proficiency in QuickBooks, experience in the logistics or related industry, and the ability to work efficiently with a Virtual Assistant (VA) for optimal task delegation and management.
Key
Responsibilities:
Record and manage daily financial transactions with a keen focus on client orders, invoicing, and receivables, using QuickBooks.
Maintain organized and accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles.
Generate and manage client invoices, actively follow up on outstanding receivables, and provide financial reports for management review.
Collaborate with a Virtual Assistant to enhance financial process efficiency, delegating appropriate tasks to maintain focus on strategic financial management.
Assist in financial audits and prepare financial statements and reports as needed.
Stay informed on the latest industry practices, especially within logistics and supply chain management, and adapt financial strategies accordingly.
Qualifications:
Proven bookkeeping experience, ideally within the logistics, supply chain, or a closely related industry.
Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel.
Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and financial reporting.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.
Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, team members, and external partners.
Independent worker with the ability to collaborate as part of a team.
